Whew, what a month!! We have been out of town for the last four weekends (a trip to the horse races with friends, Easter in Fort Smith, Hudson's Birthday party in Fort Smith, and a trip to Missouri to visit my grandparents). With all of that travelling and a double ear infection for our sweet Marlee Mae, I have hardly even had time to rest my feet...much less blog. I am going back to Fort Smith this weekend for Jess' baby shower, but after that, the Gradys plan to stay put for two weeks...and then we will head to Dallas to visit friends. We are busy people these days!! Anyway, brace yourselves for a lot of blog posts dating back to March 31st.
I was surprised, but our sweet princess loved the Easter bunny. She recently learned how to scrunch her nose like a bunny so she kept grinning at him (although I actually think it was a her) real big and showing him her bunny face. She even wanted to go back and see him later on.
Side note: My little tomboy is not a big fan of bows. She points at them in her room and thinks it is funny when there is one on her head and then she rips it off. I actually got her to wear a bow to the mall (because she forgot it was on her head) and right when she sat down on the Easter bunny's lap, she felt of her head and threw it off. We will keep trying. She has so many bows that would look so cute in her hair.
Marlee loved her Easter basket
But was so concerned about the thunder outside
She got a new book, a new Einstein video, some egg shaped sidewalk chalk, a marshmallow chick, some farm animals for the bath, a red bird that chirps (there is one at her school that she loves), and a wooden toy thing.
We went over to Terra and Drew's house when we got to Fort Smith Friday night and Marlee got to play with Evie and Lucy (although I don't have a picture of her and Lucy). She quickly discovered her favorite 100 words book at their house.
Marlee spent the day Saturday with her Ma and Maggie
They did lots of exploring,
cat chasing,
swinging,
and even took a trip to Chuck E Cheese (where she showed off her moves)
After church on Easter Sunday, we went over to Jami's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.
