17 Months and 1 Week

• Weighs 22 pounds
• Wearing 18 month clothes and a size 3 diaper
• Tries to repeat everything we say.  She knows too many words to try to list!
• Learned how to say her name last week.  She says "Maree" in the sweetest voice.  Now we just have to get her to say Memaw!!  She tries real hard but gets the order mixed up and says Mawme. ;)
• Has learned how to say "no" and how to use it correctly.  She says it in such a sweet voice but she says it A LOT
• Really into taking things from one place to another and then taking them back again.  She will take all of her toys from her toy basket and carry them one by one to the couch.
• Has three props that must be with her at all times in the morning: her monkey, her blankey, and her milk.  If she loses sight of one of these three things, it is cause for a panic attack
• Climbing on everything.  If I don't put her tray back on her high chair as soon as she is finished eating, she will use the straps to pull herself up so she can sit in her chair.  And she can get to the top of our kitchen table within minutes.

• Doing well with time out.  She had to go to time out almost every day for a week at first, but she hasn't had to go to time out at all this week.  I hope that means she is learning her limits.
• LOVES Elmo.  She still watches Baby Einstein, but usually requests Elmo.  We usually let her watch a show twice a day.  Usually once in the morning and once after nap time.  She will say "show" and climb up on the couch with her monkey and her blankey
• Says "Buuuuhhh" when we walk outside and it is cold or if an air vent blows on her head.  It is one of my favorite things.
• Into naming everyone.  We will be sitting at home and she will point to everyone and say "Dadda, Momma, Maree, Sank (Frank)" and then she will repeat it all again and again
• Dances all the time.  She will occasionally hear the music from the construction site next door and stop to dance.  She dances every time she hears a beat...whether it is music or not.  I don't know if I have posted this video before, but I love that she is dancing so hard that she loses her balance.  Haha!
