We went down to Fort Smith a couple weeks ago to go to the fair. Mom and Dad usually take all of the grand kids to the fair one night, so we decided to go with them. I think I am probably the only person that thought it was a good idea to take a six week old baby to the fair. But, you have to sling the second child around a little more than the first. ;) And thank goodness she is such an awesome baby. She just slept or looked around the entire time. It probably helped that she was snuggled up right next to me in my carrier.
These two can't ever look at the camera at the same time.
Here I am with my sweet baby.
Looking at all the animals with Papaw. Marlee kept saying "What's that?" over and over. And then she spotted a bucket with food in it in the back of one of there cages and said, "A bucket!". She was so excited to point something out.
Here is Marlee's first ride. It cracked me up how she had her arm on the side of the car. She rode it with an expression on her face that said "whatever". But threw the biggest fit when the ride was over.
So, she rode it again.
And here she is on a few more rides.
But the trend of crying every time the ride was over continued. Here she is at the end of the train ride. This picture just kills me.
Needless to say, the fair was exhausting for all of us. Hopefully it will go a little better next year...if we decide to brave it out again.
