Laynie is 5 Months Old

 

Laynie weighs 14 pounds, 9 ounces.  She is in the 25th percentile in height and 50th percentile in weight.  She is a little chunky all over, but especially in her thighs.  I can't get enough of her precious baby rolls.  Here she is talking to herself at her 5 month checkup.

Wearing some 3-6 month clothes and some 6-9 month clothes and a size 2 diaper

Into squealing at the moment...loud squealing.  And Marlee likes to squeal with her.  Then they just laugh.

Loves listening to people talk to her.  She loves good company. ;)

Has been waking up every 3-4 hours again the past two weeks.  I am hoping this is a growth spurt and she will sleep for a long length of time when it is over.

Falls asleep on her own in her crib like a champ.  Sometimes she will let me rock her a little bit, but she loves her bed.  And she gets really excited when I lay her in there and then turn on her mobile.  She will just coo and coo and then turn over on her stomach and go to sleep.

Loves her thumb but still takes a paci occasionally

Into the exersaucer at the moment.  She likes to be in an upright position and is not a big fan of her bouncy seat anymore (unless she is watching Baby Einstein).

Still hasn't rolled over stomach to back again, but she does try to scoot while she is on her tummy

Reaches for all of her toys and examines them with her hands and mouth

Enjoys standing up like a big girl any chance she can get

She is still such a sweet mannered baby.  We can't squeeze in enough kisses and we can't get enough of her chubby cheeks.  We are so blessed.
