My two American beauties.

 We went down to Lake Ouachita for 4th of July weekend.  We all had so much fun.

Marlee posing for the pictures just kills me.

  We took the kids to the boat to watch fireworks.  Marlee and Laynie both loved it.  Laynie kept saying "oooo!" and "whoo-hoo!"

Laynie is really getting into dressing up (especially shoes).  I think we have another fashionista on our hands!

 Marlee had a fear of wasps for a good week or two.  We couldn't even go outside.  Here she is watching her friends swim from inside the door. :(

We occasionally enjoy a movie in Momma and Dada's bed on the weekends.

Both girls have mastered their puzzles this summer.

Marlee got to sleep in bed with me while Dada was in New Jersey.  She thought that was pretty neat.

We had to start time-out with Laynie.  She looks so pitiful in this picture.  :(  The build up to her cry just melts my heart, but we have to discipline.

Marlee got her first pedicure and loved every minute of it, of course.

 Marlee's class got to watch a princess play.

 Marlee has loved summer at Jack & Jill.  One of her favorite days was swimming at Ma's house with the big kids.

 Laynie likes to pretend to sleep...and snore.

Marlee is getting pretty good at skating.  She wears her skates at some point every day.

The girls are having such a good summer and are starting to play so well together.  Here are just a few more pictures from July.

Marlee said "Look, Mom!  Take my picture!"

 I said, "Laynie, put your hands on your hips like big sister." Hahahaha!!
