Branson 2013

We went to Branson last weekend with the Morehead's and the Ahlert's.  This is something they have done for a few year and we plan to go with them every year as a new Christmas tradition.  We started out the trip with a stop for lunch at Steak and Shake.  The kids had fun watching the rain out of the window.
From there, we headed to the Dixie Stampede.  Marlee had a loved watching all of the horses and acrobats and enjoyed hanging out with Izzy.
The kids loves running around the hotel in their jammies.  We played in the room and went to see the big Christmas tree in the lobby.

We all slept in and Marlee watch Elmo on the IPad while we got ready.  I just love listening to her sing. :)
We rode the Polar Express the second night. We had to stand outside and wait for the train and is was SO COLD.  Dada taught Marlee how to put her hands in her coat to keep them warm.
Once we got on the train, they read the Polar Express book and handed out hot chocolate and cookies.  Then Santa came by and gave everyone a bell, but Marlee didn't think too much of Santa.

Laynie stayed home with her Memaw & Papaw Friday night and her Ma & Pa Saturday night.  We figured it was just too cold to drag her around.  She wouldn't have a clue what was going on anyway.  She sure did have a great time in Fort Smith.  Lots of thumb sucking and a visit to see Memaw Polly.
